We started High Efficiency Heating (UK) Ltd. as a local, family run company based in Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire, and those are principles we stick to to this day.

I personally have worked in the gas industry since 1979.

All our engineers are Gas Safe registered which means they have been certificated by the official body to make sure they are competent and qualified to work safely and legally with gas related appliances in your home.

The engineers have also been trained by Worcester Bosch to install and service their products to the highest of standards. We are also very pleased to be members of the well- respected WHICH Trusted trader scheme.

Every job and every day is different and being a guest in some many people’s houses has taught me so much.”
Andy served his apprenticeship with British Gas from 1979 to 1982.

“I was apprentice of the year for north west gas in 1982.

I set up my own business in 1993 and worked by myself until 2002.

I then went on to teach at Tameside College training apprentices until my boss Sharon and I opened HEHUK in 2004.

Every job and every day is different and being a guest in some many people’s houses has taught me so much.”

Sharron joined Andy to set up HEH UK Ltd in 2004.  Every day is different and challenging.  We get to meet and speak to our customers and enjoy forming a trusting relationship with them.

Technical Sales Manager

Richard has been involved in the plumbing & heating industry since birth! Third generation of plumbers, you could say it was his destiny. Seeking high standards of workmanship and customer service, he has sat on the Board of Directors for the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) for over 6 years, as well as being Secretary for the Oldham & District Master Plumbers.

Personal interests include Clay Pigeon Shooting and “Hen Husbandry” (breeding chickens) but when not working can usually be found on a boat off the coast of Minorca with his wife & three teenage daughters.

Leanne has been part of HEH Team for over 12 years. As the eldest daughter of Andy and Sharron, she joined the family run business after her first son was born.

Saturday and Sunday public holidays and Christmas period

These times are are classed as emergency call outs only and not part of any working week. We are staffing on this basis mainly to cover emergencies only.

Not Happy ?

Our business always endeavours to provide the best service. However, on rare occasions there may be times where a customer may not be completely satisfied.

To ensure the business can put things right for you, as soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out based on the contract terms and to the high standards the business aims to achieve.

Please contact the business straight away with any concerns either by phone, email or write to us. If writing, get proof of posting.

Business Complaint Procedure:
On receipt of your complaint the business aims to respond within 5 days (edit suit your procedure) The business will arrange a convenient date to come and view and/or remedy the situation.

In the unlikely event the business is unable to resolve your complaint having exhausted the business complaints procedure, it may be necessary to use another complaint service. Where the business cannot resolve the complaint to your satisfaction and/or agree to the final resolution requests confirmed to us; and both parties agree a ‘deadlock’ has been reached, you can then escalate your complaint.

The business has access to an Ombudsman service for our domestic contracts for installation, service, repair and maintenance as part of the Which? Trusted Traders Endorsement. If you choose to you can refer your complaint to the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman. Before the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman can deal with your complaint you will need to contact Which? Trusted Traders on 0117 456 6031 who can explain if you are eligible to use the Ombudsman’s services.
